Under new management which usually makes me skeptical BUT we were greated by Mr. Kumar and he explained the new menu was Northern Indian now. Less spice and more flavor. Our group ordered several items to share and, WOW, all were great. From the garlic Naan to the tandoori shrimp, everything was fresh and tasty. You specify spice from 1 to 5 stars. We had 2 and 3 stars which had a hint of spice but not overwhelming. Great hospitality, nice wines, can't wait to go back.

I was craving Indian food after facing the Sunday madness of running errands before the week and this was the only place off the top of my head that I knew served Indian food nearby. We came in with low expectations. It's in a strip mall, nestled between a subway and a T-mobile store so I even worried if they were dine in at all. But as soon as we opened the door, we were immediately greeted with the delicious scents of herbs, spices and garlic. The place was quiet, but ample seating and Indian music and TV playing in the background. We were seated right away and our servers were attentive and very nice. When we ordered, we decided to stick to the basics since we had never been here before. Our logic being if a place can knock the most common dishes out of the park, that has to mean everything else is just as good. So we ordered the lentil soup to share as an appetizer. I ordered the butter chicken (I chose medium spice) and my husband chose the chicken tikka masala (he chose VERY spicy) and sides of garlic naan. While we waited for our food, watching the trays of other tables' orders coming out of the kitchen, we really started getting excited. Everything was beautifully presented with a dinner plate and separate bowls filled with different entrees of bright reds, yellows, orange and greens with nuts and fresh herbs piled on top, to let you build your plate at the table which I liked. When the lentil soup came it was piping hot and creamy and so aromatic with fresh cilantro mixed in. It was hard having to pass the bowl back and forth between the two of us without wanting it all for ourselves. When our food came I spooned some basmati rice, butter chicken and a piece of naan on my plate. I tore some naan and dipped it in the butter chicken just as my husband took a big bite of his meal... we both immediately popped our heads up from our plates wide eyed at each other--silently suggesting "holy sh*t this is good." Every bite was better than the first. The butter chicken was rich, with so many levels of flavor and aromatics and a zing of spice I wanted to drink the sauce! My husband's tikka masala was SO spicy but in a flavorful way that made your mouth water while you ate. The naan was crispy and chewy and perfect for grabbing piles of sauce soaked rice and for dipping back into the last of our lentil soup. We boxed what was left of our meals (the sauces are RICH, otherwise I would have cleaned my serving) and both couldn't wait to eat them for lunch tomorrow* *my husband couldn't make it five hours before he caved and ate his for dinner. And I will say when he microwaved his leftovers our kitchen smelled so good it was hard for me to also save mine another day. We WILL be back and I'm excited to try more Indian dishes here! 10/10

We finally gave this restaurant a try and it did not disappoint. The gentleman who seemed to be the owner was very attentive and courteous, as was the waitress. This is a pretty authentic restaurant: Indian music playing (with movie in the background), artwork, etc. The restaurant is very much limiting seating and health precautions are in place. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was very good. My companion had the Tandoori Mix Grill, which had all sorts of meats in it. My chicken was nice and juicy, perfect in the sauce it came with. My partner's was a bit on the dry side, so he might do something in sauce next time. We prepped for our entrees with the Vegetable Platter appetizer. It's definitely the best call if you can't decide on one appetizer. The platter was perfect for two people. We also shared the Aloo Paratha, which was a great companion to our main dishes. There aren't too many Indian restaurants close by, so we'll be back again and try additional dishes.
